2017 Tweed Plant Tour

Tweed's cannabis manufacturing process was definately interesting from a Supply Chain perspective!  We started at the Mother Room and ended at Shipping.   Big thanks to Andre Fernandez, Director Supply Chain, Matt and Gord for our Plant tour.

New Certification Announcement

To better serve one of the fastest growing industries in the world—logistics, the new Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) designation launched July 1, 2016. As of May 2017 globally 800 were exams taken, 700 professionals are certified and there are 193 instructors.

The CLTD certification program and is designed to provide supply chain professionals engaged in logistics, transportation and distribution activities a body of knowledge, best practices, technology know-how and standards to advance their knowledge and elevate organization performance.

Fourteen universities, who won their regions competing against hundreds of universities across the globe via The FRESH CONNECTION APICS GLOBAL STUDENT CHALLENGE, competed in the final event at APICS 2016.
