The APICS Ottawa Chapter supports its affiliated Student Chapters through several programs that encourage students interested in a career in supply chain management to participate and gain valuable leadership skills.
Scholarship Program
To develop future supply chain leaders, ASCM offers graduate and undergraduate student members free admittance to the ASCM annual conference through the Scholars Education Program. At the event, students explore careers in supply chain management by attending educational sessions, meeting professionals in their field, attending networking events and much more. Wayne Chapman Award
The APICS Ottawa Chapter recognizes the student who contributed the most to the enhancement and furthering of APICS and the Student Chapter during the year. The award commemorates Wayne Chapman’s pioneering work with Algonquin College in developing and fostering the Materials Management program over many years. It includes a monetary prize of $500 and a plaque.

Global Student Case Competition
The ASCM Case Competition is provided by ASCM in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting LLP. The competition provides student teams with an opportunity to enhance and test their supply chain knowledge by working on end-to-end supply chain challenges drawn from company experiences.
Registration for the 2021 Case Competition opened on August 1, 2020.
